There are many ipad apps for seniors that not only add quality of life for the elderly who may spend many hours in a day idle, but also empower them with the means to communicate, better their brain function, and even shop for themselves. Many seniors’ spirits are uplifted when they have the ability to interact with family and friends often and contribute, instead of feeling worthless and helpless.

My mom just turned 86 and uses her ipad daily to communicate by email, share on Facebook, and to look up different locations in the world. She especially loves to see views of the area of Poland where her parents were born! What a great gift from her kids!
